​I was born on Long Island, received a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design, and have been working in the field of  Wayfinding and Graphic Design ever since. After graduating, I lived and worked in Coconut Grove, where I met my husband. Currently we spend time between Florida, Connecticut and our farm in Kristiansand, Norway.

I have always been drawn to animals. Besides having pets growing up, I have bred dogs and helped establish a bird farm in Florida. Our only pet now is Pepper, our Beagle mix rescue.

During covid, like many others, I rediscovered painting. I primarily focusing on portraits - because of the strong bond already established with the subject matter, and the happiness it creates. 

 

Besides painting, I love traveling, finding inspiration in other cultures.
